About me

I’m not famous, so if you’re here, odds are you know me in person already. But in case you don’t: I’m a husband, father of two sons, former journalist, current journalism professor, West Virginia native, Tennessee transplant, and recovering Pharisee. Not much else about me would be relevant to this blog, which is just my way of ensuring that I regularly set my busyness aside to read and think about some scripture, perhaps informed by people who know a lot more about it than I do. If following it might help you do the same, you’re welcome to. I have “Comment” capability turned off, not because I’m unfriendly, but because I don’t want to deal with spam. My contact information is readily available on my professor-life’s web page if you’d like to reach out to me.
